Green awareness protest leaves 500kg of trash in the Espoo forest. Organizers blame government’s propaganda

On Friday the 16th of August, 7,000 green activists rallied together in the Espoo forest, protesting against the use of non recyclable products.

After a full day of protesting, live music performances, and public debates. Activists left large amounts of garbage on the ground. Solid materials consisting of Styrofoam cups, plastics, soda cans, glass bottles and paper brochures after large consumption of food, beverages and the actual rally materials.

Dean Schneider, Espoo city council member declares this act as: “Foul-Play, irresponsible, childish and somewhat ironic” considering that the original purpose of the protest was increasing green awareness and eventually leaving an environmental damage hurting the natural surroundings of the Espoo forest.

“The protesting area was left clean, clearly the littering act was done by governmental bodies in order to present the green bodies as hooligans and criminals” states Lenny Dierks, Green Party spokesperson.

Ministeri tukee vagina-ansan käyttöönottoa

Sosiaali- ja terveysministeri Paula Risikko ilmoitti puheessaan eduskunnalle tukevansa lääkeyhtiön Orionin uutta hanketta tuoda Suomessa markkinoille vagina-ansa. Risikon mukaan naisilla ei ole feikkivaginaa kuten useilla pussieläimillä, joten heille on tarjottava mahdollisuus puolustautua raiskauksilta ja suojautua ei-toivotuilta raskauksilta.

Aiemmin Raiskaustukikeskukselta hylkäystuomion saanut Etelä-Afrikkalaisen vagina-ansan patentin ostanut Orion testaa LadyHook-tuotettaan sadoilla suomalaisnaisilla ensi syyskuusta vuoden 2013 juhannukseen asti.

Australialaisella harmaalla kengurulla (Macropus giganteus) on kaksi vaakasuuntaista vaginaa.

YLE’s reputation to be saved – Mannerheim will be white after all

A Kenyan film post-production company developing Mannerheim Filter for YLE in Nairobi

YLE and Aalto University are now working on a Skin Color App that will be available for Digiboxes at 199 euro right before the TV release of “The Marshall of Finland” fiction film later this year. The so called “Mannerheim Filter” can change skin color in moving images in realtime. The new App will be tested during the coming Love and Anarchy Festival in September.

Kenyan software team leader David Sawa Ndwaki says: “It is our great honor to please the color sensitive audience in Finland. This work secures us a sustainable collaboration with YLE”.

Suomesta huhutaan lähtevän taiteilijoita Syyriaan

Suomen taiteilijoiden keskuudessa kiertää huhu, jonka mukaan Suomesta olisi menossa performanssitaiteilijoita Syyriaan.
”Haluamme edistää rauhaa kriisialueella ja uskomme taiteilijoiden yhteisöprojektien kannustavan eri osapuolia yhteistyökykyyn”, sanoo Todellisuuden Tutkimuskeskuksen Utopia-projektin tutkimusvastaava Saara Hannula.

Supo seuraa matkustamista kriisialueille ja niiden lähelle, mutta ei kommentoi yksittäisiä tapauksia.
Monet asiantuntijat pelkäävät, että ulkomaalaiset taiteilijat voivat joutua Syyriassa terrori-iskujen kohteeksi. Ulkoasianministeriö kehottaa välttämään matkustamista Syyriaan. Suomen Damaskoksen-suurlähetystön suomalainen henkilökunta on poistunut maasta.
